Susan, glad you enjoyed it!….and you are right, procrastination is one of the reasons people don’t achieve their goals…. maybe we should all have a sign at home that says “Eat That Frog.” What a good daily reminder that would be…As well as a fun conversation starter… LOL
I’ve read that book and learned the hard way that I must take care of the most nagging but important thing FIRST, and do the lesser but fun things second. Boy does doing things that way help!

What a beautifully succint way to make a serious point. I’ve seen a lot about procrastination and written about it once or twice myself but that’s the simplest way of getting the point across I’ve seen yet so thanks very much indeed. It also made me smile…. Not that I particularly like the idea of eating frogs!

Andrew
Mario—- you are so right… Saving the fun things for last doesn’t seem to be so much “fun” but in the long run, I always enjoy them even more!
Andrew—- Eat that frog does seem a bit distateful but it is now something I find myself thinking each time I feel the urge to procrastinate…”Eat That Frog!” seems to come to mind at those times… which then makes the task seem funnier some how… !
Perfect information to start the week off right! By not procrastinating with the most difficult task, the momentum is set to tackle the easier items on the list. Thanks for the great reminder:) Darlene Davis´s last [type] ..A Letter to My Hero, My Dad
Thanks for sharing ~ I luv this video! And, Brian Tracy is so right…if you do your most difficult task (or what YOU perceive as being the most difficult) first, then once completed, it’s amazing about the energy & momentum this will create for you & the drive you’ll have to complete other tasks without hesitation! Very cool video… and so right. If we accomplish all the other things on our list, except for “the frog”, we tell ourselves we’ve done well. However, we feel that subconsciously that one thing that we keep putting off drags us down, keeps us from accomplishing more, and takes up “space” in our lives in which we could get so much done.
The same goes for a cluttered area in our lives… emotionally, spiritually and physically.
Robin,
Thanks so much! Your little video has me re-inspired to read this great little book by Brian Tracy. I can really see how my whole day’s attitude would improve if I get the least desirable task done first.
I just requested the book from the library here online. I love that I can do that and thanks again for reminding me to take that action.
Please tell me how the book has effected you.

Dawn,
Thinking of “Eat That Frog” always helps me to enjoy my days by doing that one thing first….so I stop thinking about it the remainder of the day. It’s become a habit now for me to do the tough things first….and I always think of The Frog when I do….
Great video and true wisdom. We typically put off those things that we don’t want to do and it makes life that much harder! I myself fall in this category from time to time and it’s always not as bad as I thought once I begin.
The hardest part is to begin. I was experiencing the same thing over 6 months ago before starting TSA. What was I so afraid of? lol hmmmm ME!
By the way, I love frog legs! They taste like chicken only a little more rubbery.
I LOVED that video! I happen to like frogs in a silly way. Now I have a new use for them. Make my worst task a frog and eat’em up… love that. That was a lot of fun! Lesly´s last [type] ..When Wrong Words Fly

So glad you found it as much fun as we did…. and it is a great metaphor that sticks in your mind! Maybe we should all have a ceramic frog near our desk to remind us!
Thanks again for letting us know you liked it…..

Hi Joseph…
Truly, “just doing it first” can be so effective with everything! And, it is usually simply taking the first step to doing it, that is the answer. Take a step, and the rest will follow. We see you are a pilot? Check out the about page for Judy (LOL) Welcome to our syndication tribe…we are looking forward to connecting with you in the future.
To your success, always…

Brilliant video, thanks for sharing. I also have and have read the namesake book by Brian Tracy and recommend this as an absolute classic on the subject of getting things done.
The video encapsulates the primary idea of the book extremely well. Not tackling the big tasks we set ourselves in a timely manner, can certainly be an energy drainer. Thanks for the valuable reminder,
