Have you ever noticed how you can detect a person’s approach to life, by the words they use in every day conversations? Are they a pessimist, or an optimist?
The optimist says “It can be done. We just have to find a way to do it.”
The pessimist will say, “I don’t think it will work. We’ve tried it before, and it wasn’t good.” You will find that most people are consistent.
By adding just three simple phrases to our vocabulary, we can all shift our approach to life, create success, and realize our own greatness! Want to know what they are?
The first one is: (Drum roll please) ….. Yes I Can. When asked, can I do it?
Answer loudly, and with pride…“YES I CAN.”
The second phrase is: You Bet I Will. When someone asks you: “Will you use your remarkable ability?” Stand up and say: “YOU BET I WILL“.
The third phrase is: I’ll Do It Now. When asked, “When will you build your dream?”… Honor that question, and yourself, with the answer “I WILL DO IT NOW!”
We all know, so many people, who have quit on their dreams, and died with the songs still in them, and the books still unwritten. We show deep admiration for great women and men of achievement, but we have the same ability too! The only difference, is that we have not responded to the opportunity before us, with:
“YES I CAN, YOU BET I WILL, AND I WILL DO IT NOW!”

I am a firm believer in the power of language. It is amazing how much slips by unnoticed in language. I have studied some NLP there is so much power in looking at the words we use as well as those words we choose when we communicate to others as well as ourselves.
I actually just saw the movie “Yes Man” this afternoon which stars Jim Carrey. In case you haven’t seen the movie, it shows all of the transformations and opportunities that come up when we choose to meet opportunities with a “Yes”.

Oh yes, the power of language is so important, and we think overlooked by many. NLP can be complicated, but once you get the general idea, everything starts to go into place. Now, after several years of studying, I find myself saying..”No Wonder” to many situations that are placed in front of me.
