Focus On Your Money

What does the thought: “Focus on Your Money” bring to mind for you? Let’s take a look at what money, or lack of it, and how it really effects our true independence. If we are really truthful, most of us are in debt. While we would love to be out of debt, are we willing to do what it takes? Or, are we overwhelmed with that prospect? Maybe we are even ashamed to be in debt. Yet, the thought of deprivation, hard work, and years of struggle, are not THAT appealing!

Maybe the lack of money is not the main problem. Maybe we just need to focus on the process. Maybe, it is not that hard to fix the lack of money problem. Maybe we don’t have to suffer…

Make Every Monday Better

How can you make every Monday better?  In my search for a blog idea for today, I thought about a few easy things that each of us can do, to change our lives for the better.   Each of us can make a difference, in so many ways, but here are a few ideas:

MENTOR A CHILD:  15 Million children need mentoring.  1 out of every 3 students in public high schools, will not graduate.

ADOPT A PET:  8 Million dogs and cats are placed in animal shelters every year.  Over 4 million are euthanized.  Only 15% of owned pets, were adopted from an animal shelter…

Happy 4th. of July

The Fourth of July weekend is upon us, and it is a day to celebrate the freedoms that our forefathers have laid out for us. They willingly fought to establish a country that gave us the freedom to change what we feel needs to be changed. Knowing, first-hand, just how powerful government could be, they sought to do everything to give this country the tools to fight for our freedoms against oppressive oversight. All the groundwork has been laid in the United States Constitution, and from that, we have the inherent power to improve our lives, and most importantly, our childrens’ lives.

July 4th was a pivotal day for our nation, and it goes deeper than a summer night illuminated by fireworks.
